Australian Warbirds Limited (AWL) is the administering body for LIMITED category aircraft operations in Australia. Through delegations granted by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) under Civil Aviation Safety Regulation (CASR) Part 132, AWL issues Certificates of Airworthiness, oversees maintenance systems, provides safety guidance, approves and oversees adventure flight operations and facilitates Permit Index assessments. In addition, the Association offers an opportunity for aviation enthusiasts to join our community and participate in its ongoing growth.

Whenever AWL collect personal information from members it will be carried out in a lawful and fair way. Members can contact the association’s leadership to discuss any concerns they might have in this regard.
AWL will only disclose personal information in accordance with the Act. This means that it will be disclosed if:

AWL will take reasonable steps to ensure that any information that is collected, used and disclosed is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
AWL is committed to protecting your privacy and will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information collected is protected from loss and misuse and from unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
Members can access their personal information upon request. However, there are occasions when such access may be denied under the exemptions contained in the Act.
This policy is available to members upon request. It will be reviewed by AWL management from time to time and any amendments will be included in the updated policy.
